Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims asks crucial question as time zones go through a major change
Brooks Koepka's wife and model Jena Sims is a popular social media personality and has a massive following on Instagram. She often shares her OOTDs, funny anecdotes and life updates with her 304k followers.
Currently, the US is facing a major change in time zones as daylight savings are expected to fall back on November 3 this year. For better context, daylight savings is a practice where clocks are pushed forward by an hour during summertime to make greater use of the longer daylight available. By doing this, darkness technically falls at a later time. The clocks are pulled back by an hour during autumn.
As the people prepare for the time shift, Sims took to her Instagram stories to share a hilarious meme about daylight savings. The meme was a pun posed as a question. It was originally posted by Marshall Scott and turned into a meme by Lana Black.
While the daylight savings started on March 10 this year, they are scheduled to fall back at 2 am ET on November 3.
What are Jena Sims' "summer to fall" swimwear favourites?
Brooks Koepka's wife and model Jena Sims recently took to Instagram to share her "summer to fall transitional swimwear" favourites. She posted pictures from her May 2024 photoshoot with SI Swimsuit for the brand's 60th anniversary. The photos were shot by Yu Tsai.
Generally, the fall season is associated with brown, orange, and other earthy tones. To suit the theme, the SI model picked snaps where she could be seen posing in different swimwear of those colours. Sims sported one-pieces and bikinis in neutral and animal prints. The photos were clicked on a yacht.
The 35-year-old became the SI Swimsuit rookie in 2022, just four months after giving birth to her and Brooks Koepka's son, Crew. She was excited for the opportunity and said (via SI Swimsuit):
"Being a rookie, it just feels right. I have worked literally my entire life (for this). This is my biggest goal ever since I was a little kid. I was so nervous flying here, but now that I’m here, I just feel so relaxed. I feel like I’m exactly where I need to be, and I feel like this is the beginning of such a huge new chapter of my life,"
She further added:
"I believe in going for anything that you want. I went for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. I went for so many different jobs that I’ve booked and dream brands that I’ve worked with because I made the first move. Don’t waste your good boob years sitting around. You’re only this young right now,"
The photos from Jena Sims' 10-picture carousel fall-themed post were shot in Mexico.
