Brooks Koepka's wife, Jena Sims, was in awe of the heartfelt message that Xander Schauffele's wife, Maya, posted after his recent success.

On Sunday, July 21, Xander Schauffele won the Open Championship beating Justin Rose and Billy Horschel by two stroke margin. Two months ago he had also won the PGA Championship, after edging out Bryson DeChambeau by one shot margin.

On Tuesday, July 23, Xander Schauffele's wife, Maya posted a heartfelt message on Instagram following his success at the Royal Troon

"If I could use one word to describe my feeling all last week it would be 'proud'," she wrote. "Proud of the mother my dear friend, @honeybsunnie has become. Meeting Matteo was the introduction my heart needed. Proud of my husband, @xanderschauffele, for his achievements and display of true class. Just so incredibly proud of those I love the most.🤍"

She received praise from many people in the comment section, including Brooks Koepka's wife, Jena Sims.

With his recent successes, Xander Schauffele has now reached second place in the FedEx Cup Standings. Besides, he is also second in the Original World Golf Rankings.

Xander Schauffele is not competing at the 3M Open, which is teeing off on Thursday, July 25 at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. The event will feature 166 players competing for the purse size of $8.1 million.
