Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims gives husband’s golf clubs the “hawk tuah” send off ahead of the 2024 Open

Brooks Koepka's wife, Jena Sims, is known for sharing content with her fans on social media. Although her posts are often related to Koepka's career, they are also filled with humor.

That's the case with her most recent post to her Instagram Stories. Jena Sims posted a video of herself cleaning Brooks Koepka's clubs, dubbing the audio from the "hawk tuah girl" video that recently went viral.

Jena Sims accompanied the video with two text messages. The first reads as follows:

"How to send your husband off on a tournament week"

The second text message reads as follows:

"Believe it or not, this was Brooks' idea lol"

The audio used by Jena Sims in this publication belongs to the video of Hailey Welch using the onomatopoeia "hawk tuah" to make a sexual reference during an interview on the streets of Nashville in early June 2024.

The video of Welch's interview has gone viral across all platforms, with tens of millions of reposts and views.

Brooks Koepka is preparing to participate in the LIV Golf Andalucia, to be played June 12-14 at Real Club Valderrama. A week later, Koepka will be in the field for The Open Championship at Royal Troon.

Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims have been married since 2022

Koepka and Jena Sims met in 2015 at Augusta National Golf Club, where Koepka played in the Masters Tournament. Their relationship developed over time, but they didn't make it public until 2017, during another major championship.

It happened when Brooks Koepka won his first major championship, the 2017 US Open at Erin Hills. Koepka attended the awards ceremony with Jena Sims by his side for the first time.

Since then, Sims has been a regular fixture at the tournaments where Koepka plays and, more importantly, in his victories.

In March 2021, Koepka proposed to Sims. The couple married just over a year later, in June 2022. The ceremony was held in Turks and Caicos, with numerous family and friends in attendance.

In May 2023, Koepka and Sims announced they were expecting their first child. A few months later (in July), they welcomed their baby boy, whom they named Crew.
