Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims, hits out at haters slamming her red-carpet ensemble
US golfer Brooks Koepka and his wife Jena Sims recently attended the premiere of 'Nutcrackers' at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The couple complemented each other in matching black ensembles.
While Brooks Koepka looked dapper in an oversized blazer, Jena Sims opted for a one-shoulder black gown with bedazzled silver border detailing. The beautiful gown had a cutout on the torso. The SI model wore her hair up for the occasion and finished off the look with a black purse and matching sandals.
The night indeed seemed special for the pair, as Sims had shared pictures and BTS from the event. However, her outfit received some trolling online. Some haters bashed her fashion choices, but the 35-year-old had a befitting reply to them. She posted screenshots of some mean comments and gave them a piece of her mind.
Jena Sims is very active on social media and has amassed 304k followers over the years. She often uses her platform to share anecdotes, outfits, and other life updates. This time she used it to give the perfect reply to her haters.

US golfer Brooks Koepka and wife and model Jena Sims welcomed their first child, Crew, in 2023. The toddler made his golf debut at the par-3 contest at the Masters this year along with Sims.
However, when the couple was still expecting, Jena Sims had a conversation with US Weekly while promoting her association with the non-profit, Baby Quest. During this, she revealed the difficulties she faced when she embarked on the journey of motherhood and iterated:
"I didn’t start showing until I was about six months because I am just a naturally thin person.There are so many times that I would just tell people I’m expecting and they’re like, 'Where’s that baby? No, you’re not,' (and it felt) like I had to prove something, and that’s, almost like a form of body-shaming,"
Brooks Koepka is one of the most prominent golfers in the world today. And while being his wife would be a matter of pride for Sims, it also came with its fair share of struggles. Especially with the burden of living under a constant spotlight.
"Your expectation of how my pregnancy should look or how I’m supposed to carry is not my responsibility. … Because my husband is already in, like, such a public spotlight, we are under a microscope,"
Sims further spoke about the kind of comments and "unsolicited advice" that she received and how she dealt with it.
"I know everyone is like, ‘Just get ready for the unsolicited advice, everybody has an opinion on what I should be doing [and] what I shouldn’t be doing. And then the other people, because I can’t travel with Brooks, they’re telling me that I’m a terrible wife ‘cause I can’t be there to support him. I’m literally taking care of myself … but at the end of the day, I just have to do what’s right for me, and if the doctors aren’t concerned, I’m not concerned,"
Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims met at the 2015 Masters. The pair got hitched in a beautiful beach ceremony in Turks and Caicos in 2022.
