Brooks Koepka’s wife Jena Sims shares pictures from her “special trip” with 1-year-old son
Brooks Koepka's wife and model Jena Sims is a very prominent social media personality. She often shares her life anecdotes with her followers.
Recently, Sims took to Instagram to share pictures of her LA outing with her one-year-old son, Crew. The SI model enjoyed a meal with a group of friends and their children. She hilariously joked about how life changes after kids, writing:
"Back in the day this would be the pregame. Nowewe are at the early bird dinner with our children,"
Jena Sims appeared to be making the most of her time in Los Angeles as she posted a string of her pictures on her stories. She posted photos of a couple of restaurants and hotels. The 35-year-old then went to post adorable pictures of her with Crew. She was dressed in a chic black dress and monochrome sneakers.
She left her hair down and accessorized the look with golden hoops, a watch, bracelets, and a chain. Crew sported a black shirt and blue striped pants with white shoes.
Jena Sims posted many pictures from outside the Beverly Hills Hotel. In one of them, she could be seen posing with Crew's stroller. Apparently, it was not only Sims who was enjoying her social life in the City of Angels; Crew seemed to have found new friends as well, as she captioned the picture:
"Such a special trip. Finally got to introduce my kid to my closest friends' kiddos,"
Brooks Koepka was obviously missing from the pictures as he was in Dallas, Texas for the LIV Golf Team Championship. His team, Smash GC, lost out to Kevin Na's Iron Heads GC in the quarter-finals. The team shockingly finished last in the standings. The Koepka-led squad was ranked fourth going into the Dallas event.
"If the doctors aren’t concerned, I’m not concerned," - When Brooks Koepka's wife Jena Sims shared how she dealt with "unsolicited advice" during her pregnancy
Jena Sims and Brooks Koepka got married in a beautiful beach ceremony at Turks and Caicos in 2022. A year later, they welcomed their son, Crew. When the couple was still expecting him, Sims had a talk with US Weekly while promoting her association with the non-profit organization Baby Quest.
During the interview, Jena Sims shared how she felt body-shamed in the initial days of her pregnancy:
"I didn’t start showing until I was about six months because I am just a naturally thin person. There are so many times that I would just tell people I’m expecting and they’re like, 'Where’s that baby? No, you’re not,' (and it felt) like I had to prove something, and that’s, almost like a form of body-shaming,"
Brooks Koepka is one of the most famous golfers and being married to him came with a fair share of the struggle of dealing with the constant spotlight.
"Your expectation of how my pregnancy should look or how I’m supposed to carry is not my responsibility… Because my husband is already in, like, such a public spotlight, we are under a microscope,"
Sims then revealed how she dealt with "unsolicited advice" and mean comments she received during her pregnancy.
"I know everyone is like, ‘Just get ready for the unsolicited advice. Everybody has an opinion on what I should be doing [and] what I shouldn’t be doing. And then the other people, because I can’t travel with Brooks, they’re telling me that I’m a terrible wife 'cause I can’t be there to support him.' I’m literally taking care of myself … but at the end of the day, I just have to do what’s right for me, and if the doctors aren’t concerned, I’m not concerned,"
Brooks Koepka and Jena Sims had met during the 2015 Masters but weren't romantically involved back then. The pair made their relationship public at the 2017 US Open. And while Sims was a regular feature at the par-3 contests during the Masters, this year she was joined by their toddler, Crew, in an adorable golf debut.
