Brooks Koepka's wife Jena Sims shares son Crew's amusing food habits
Brooks Koepka's wife, Jena Sims, this week opened up about her son Crew's unique food habit. The American social media influencer uploaded a video on her Instagram account, where she frequently shares snippets from her life, including vacations, traveling, and fashion.
This week, Sims posted a video on her Instagram stories that showed her breaking up Crew's food into small pieces before handing it to him to eat. Set to music that hilariously changes from a bombastic tone to the sound of crickets, the video starts with a text saying:
"One minute he's eating farm-raised branzino..."
She then broke the shell of Pretzel bites to take peanut butter and then gave it to Crew.
"The next, he's only eating peanut butter from inside Pretzel bites," she further added in the caption of the video.
Jena Sims and Brooks Koepka tied the knot on June 4, 2022, after dating for a few years. A year later, in July 2024, they welcomed their first child together, Crew.
The baby was born six weeks earlier than his due date and was in the NICU for a few days before finally going home. Speaking of her son's health condition at that time, Sims shared a post on her Instagram, writing (via People magazine):
"He's off oxygen (🙏🏻), breathing on his own, he is starting to take a bottle (in very small amounts) otherwise feeding through his nose. He is meeting tiny milestones every day! Leaving the hospital without your baby is something I wish on no one. It's the hardest thing we've ever done. We have been visiting him as much as possible, and know he's in the absolute best care."
Earlier this year, the Koepka-Sims couple celebrated Crew's first birthday.
"I’ve never loved something so much as that tiny little human" - When Jena Sims opened up about motherhood
In an interview with Jupiter Magazine published on August 29, 2023, Jena Sims opened up about motherhood and how her life changed after welcoming her baby. She said:
"The only surprise is just that new “level” you unlock. It’s hard to describe, but all my mom friends say something just kicks in when you see your child for the first time, and it’s true!
The American model also spoke about the tough times when Crew spent a few days following his birth in the NICU. She added:
"I am stronger in myself and in my relationship, and I’ve never loved something so much as that tiny little human I created with my husband. Watching Crew fight and show strength in the NICU has motivated me to work harder and be the best I can be. [Brooks and I] both want to make him proud."
Jena Sims won several pageant titles in her career. She has been the 2004 Miss Georgia Junior National Teenager, 2005 Miss Junior National Teenager, and 2007 Miss Georgia Teen USA.
