Bryson DeChambeau announces $70,000,000 American quarterback as next 'Break 50' guest

Bryson DeChambeau's 'Break 50' series on his YouTube channel has been garnering a fair bit of attention of late. From Donald Trump to John Daly, DeChambeau has invited a variety of prominent figures to join him on his YouTube series.

DeChambeau recently asked fans which NFL quarterback they would like to see on his Break 50 series.

"If I was to do a Break 50 with a current or former NFL quarterback who would you guys want to see first?" he wrote on X.

According to NUCLR Golf, DeChambeau has now announced that $70,000,000 worth American football quarterback Tony Romo will be his next partner for the upcoming Break 50 video.

Romo is a seasoned golfer who has even qualified for the PGA Tour pre-qualifying event. He has played golf alongside Donald Trump, and the former President even praised him. Speaking via USA Today, Trump said,

"I played golf today with a really good golfer: Tony Romo. Do you know Tony Romo? He may be a better golfer than a football player. I don’t know."

Romo has also played in several PGA Tour sanctioned events, including the M&P Group Texas State Open. The 44-year-old has also played the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament, winning the 2018 edition of the same.

Bryson DeChambeau's Break 50 series featured Donald Trump and John Daly

Bryson DeChambeau has featured both John Daly and Donald Trump on his Break 50 series in the past couple of months. DeChambeau heavily praised Trump's game after filming the Break 50 episode with the former President. Speaking via ESPN, he said,

“Man, his iron play was great. I can’t tell you the number of times he stuffed it on the green within 30 feet of regulation. His driver swing is the most repeatable thing I have ever seen. I wish mine was that repeatable. Really, I do.”

The video also raised almost $30,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project. DeChambeau has also shown interest in playing alongside Barack Obama or Joe Biden.

DeChambeau also collaborated with John Daly in an episode of "Break 50." While filming, the pair discussed their careers, and Daly offered DeChambeau some advice for the future. Additionally, Daly presented DeChambeau with a box of cigars and, in the video, said,

"I just want to say I love you, son, You may not smoke cigars, but handmade. Bring them to your friends, and there are lighters that we know, so three."

DeChambeau's YouTube popularity has steadily increased over the past few years. The 30-year-old has also remained active on the golf circuit, even winning the U.S. Open this year. Additionally, his team, the Crushers GC, is currently at the top of the overall standings for the 2024 LIV Golf season.
