Bryson DeChambeau details how 'shaving his legs' helps him win tournaments
Bryson DeChambeau had a wonderful season in 2023. The golfer won two LIV tournaments - LIV Golf Invitational Greenbrier and LIV Golf Invitational Chicago. Following that, his team Crushers GC won the LIV Golf Team Championship in Miami, where DeChambeau's final putt sealed the victory with a score of 5-under.
After his triumph at the team championship, DeChambeau revealed the secret behind him winning tournaments at a press conference. Nuclr Golf Stats recently reposted that interview on X where DeChambeau elucidates how shaving his legs helped him outdrive golfers.
“It was all about aerodynamics so cleaning that up gave me a little more speed on the tee and was allowing me to hit it farther out there,” DeChambeau said.
Bryson DeChambeau has had no individual LIV triumphs this year but Crushers GC won at LIV Golf Hong Kong. Following that, he also won the US Open title.
DeChambeau showed a stellar performance right from day one of the Major. He dropped six birdies and a single bogey to end at 67. In the next round, 'the Scientist' shot five birdies and four bogeys to finish at 69.
In the third round, DeChambeau had six birdies, a bogey and a double bogey to land at 67. In the last round, he secured two birdies to finish at 71.
