Bryson DeChambeau gives honest take on LIV Golf beating its attendance record in the US

After more than 15,000 fans turned up for the final day of LIV Golf Chicago, Bryson DeChambeau said it was a result of the perseverance of the LIV product. He added that it was just the beginning and that there was a lot more to come.

On Sunday, September 15, Bryson DeChambeau finished T6 at LIV Golf Chicago with a total of 5-under. He shot a-bogey-free 68 in the final round, finishing six shots behind winner Jon Rahm. However, he led his team, Crushers GC, to win their third title of the season.

During the winner's press conference, the Crushers GC captain gave his honest take on the improved fan numbers at LIV Golf.

"I'll tell you that it's the perseverance of the LIV product and what all us players, 54 of us, including staff behind closed doors, have worked hard to do," he said. "This is just the beginning."
"I know I've said it before, even said it in Nashville, but this is just the beginning. There's a lot more to come, and super excited that people are starting to appreciate what LIV is, what we're trying to do, how we're trying to impact the community. Man, it's a great next step in our evolution," he added.
