Bryson DeChambeau is a two-time US Open champion and the captain of LIV Golf's Crushers GC. He is an SMU alum, having played college golf there and quickly becoming a school legend.
During the second quarter of the game at Gerald J. Ford Stadium in Dallas, Texas, DeChambeau displayed the trophy to the SMU students, who went wild with excitement.
Here's a look at the clip:
DeChambeau had a fairly successful college golf career at SMU. He was the first player from the university to win the NCAA Division I individual championship. That same year, he also claimed the 2015 US Amateur.

Will Bryson DeChambeau compete at the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational?
Bryson DeChambeau will not participate in the 2024 Grant Thornton Invitational, set to take place from December 13 to 15 at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples, Florida. The event will feature top players such as Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, Jason Day, Tony Finau, Rose Zhang, Lexi Thompson, Rickie Fowler, Lilia Vu, and several other highly ranked players from the PGA Tour and LPGA.
