"Can’t pick when to be a feminist" - Paige Spiranac hits back at women outraged by Tiger Woods and Justin Thomas' tampon exchange
Paige Spiranac has come out in support of Tiger Woods in his tampon exchange incident with Justin Thomas. Woods, who was returning to the PGA Tour after a long hiatus, was seen giving a Tampax tampon to Thomas during the first round of play at the Genesis Invitational.
The photo has attracted a lot of criticism online, with many of them finding it misogynistic. Woods apologized at a news conference on Friday.
Spiranac posted a tweet in defense of the ace golfer:

And that was not it. Spiranac added a couple more tweets in support of the 15 times Major winner.

"Instead of women being outraged by Tiger and the tampon, I would love for them to actually provide ideas to help," she tweeted. "For example I would have Tampex team up with the PGA tour to run a campaign where they provide free feminine products at golf courses. Most don’t actually have them and during long rounds, it can be a problem for us."

Tiger Woods apologizes over tampon sharing incident
Tiger Woods has apologized for the Thursday incident. was seen handing a tampon to Justin Thomas on the tee off the ninth hole during the first round. This didn't go well with many and as a result, Woods apologized for this during Friday's conference.
Woods said it was supposed to be funny, however, it didn't turn out that way.
"If I offended anybody, it was not the case," Woods said. "It was just friends having fun and as I said, if I offended anybody in any way, shape, or form, I'm sorry. It was not intended to be that way."
