Charley Hull outlines plans after picking up her first victory in two years
Charley Hull won the Aramco Team Series Riyadh with an 18-under score. This is her first triumph in two years. Her last victory came at the 2022 Volunteers of America Classic, where she bagged the title with a score of 18 under 266.
After clinching the latest triumph in Riyadh, Hull outlined her plans for the rest of 2024 (via the Ladies European Tour).
“I feel like my game’s been pretty good all season…I’ve been knocking on the door quite a lot over the past couple years and this week it all came together. I feel good. I’m going to get a hot chocolate [to celebrate], that’s about as exciting as it gets for me! It feels really good to win again…Especially here in Saudi, it’s my sponsored event with Golf Saudi. It’s just great to be here and get that win. I felt really sharp and played really solid out there,” Charley Hull said.
She continued:
“I held my game together pretty well. 18-under across three days is a pretty good score! I’m going home for a week now before I head back to America for the last two events in the LPGA, which is the ANNIKA event, and then the CME Group Tour Championship. I like the Tour Championship golf course. I won there in 2016, so I’m looking forward to them too. Then home for Christmas – I can’t wait”
Charley Hull dropped six birdies in the first round of the Aramco Team Series Riyadh and an eagle to land at 65. She carded six birdies in the second round and eight in the third round to finish at 67 and 66, respectively.
