A look at Charley Hull's performance at the 2024 Aramco Team Series Riyadh
Charley Hull arrived at Riyadh Golf Club on the shoulders of a 2024 season in which she had not won, but had four top 10s in 15 LPGA Tour events (13 cuts). On the Ladies European Tour, she had two second-place finishes and a third-place finish in four starts.
Hull finished the first round of the Aramco Team Series Riyadh with one eagle, six birdies and one bogey for a 7-under 65, tying for first place with Pia Babnik and Luna Sobron. In the second round, she had six birdies and one bogey (5-under), but fell back to second place, two shots behind Babnik.
In the third round, however, Hull shot low again, something Babnik was unable to do. The Englishwoman carded eight birdies and two bogeys (6-under), while the Slovakian finished with one birdie and two bogeys (1-over).
Hull's performance saw her finish on 18-under par, three shots ahead of Nicole Broch Estrup, who carded a final round of 67 and also edged out Babnik.
It was Charley Hull's seventh professional victory and fourth on the Ladies European Tour. She had previously won the 2014 Lalla Meryem Cup, the 2019 Fatima Bint Mubarak Ladies Open, and the 2021 Aramco Team Series New York.
Her other career victories include the 2016 CME Group Tour Championship and 2022 Volunteers of America Classic on the LPGA Tour, and the 2020 Event 1 of the Rose Ladies Series.
