CME Group Tour Championship winner beats Nelly Korda to top the 2024 LPGA money list: Earnings explored

CME Group Tour Championship winner Jeeno Thitikul beat Nelly Korda in the 2024 money list by $1667379. Thitikul earned $6,059,309 in 2024, and $4 million of this came from her recent triumph at the CME Group Tour Championship.

Her other top earnings came from a T2 finish at the Kroger Queen City Championship and another T2 finish at the Maybank Championship. The Thai golfer earned $183,381 from TPC River's Bend and she earned $274,433 from Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

While the Thailand-based golfer earned over $6 million, Korda earned $4,391,930 in 2024 and secured second place in the money list. Korda recently earned $227,500 from the CME Group Tour Championship by finishing at T5, contributing to her total earnings in 2024.

Korda had seven LPGA triumphs in 2024 and most of her earnings came from those tournaments. The golfer earned $262,500 from the LPGA Drive-On Championship, $300,000 from the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship, $337,500 from the Ford Championship, $300,000 from the T-Mobile Match Play, and $1,200,000 from the Chevron Championship.

She also earned $450,000 from the Mizuho Americas Open and $487,500 from the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge.

Jeeno Thitikul won the CME Group Tour Championship with a score of 22 under and Nelly Korda finished in fifth place with 15 under. Thitikul fired 71 in the first round with 5 birdies and Korda made 72 in that same round with 3 birdies.

Following that, the World No. 5 shot 67 in the second round with 5 birdies, and the World No. 1 made 66 in that round with four birdies and one eagle. In the third round, the Thai golfer shot three birdies on the front nine and four on the back nine, along with an eagle.
