Coffee connoisseur Nelly Korda approves another city’s brew

Coffee connoisseur Nelly Korda was highly impressed by the beverage of Salt Lake City in Utah. The American golfer has taken a break from the greens. This week, LPGA Tour players teed it up at the 2024 Buick LPGA Shanghai in Minhang District, Shanghai, Republic of China.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from 10 to 13 October. It features a stellar field of golfers including Leona Maguire, Celine Boutier, Alexa Pano, Anna Nordqvist, and Minjee Lee. However, Korda is missing from the field.

Korda enjoyed her time in Utah and shared a post approving the coffee of Salt Lake City. She shared a picture of her coffee cup on her Instagram account, where she has 1 million followers, and wrote:

"Salt Lake City gets my coffee approval."

Nelly Korda took a break after a successful outing on the LPGA Tour this year. She has played in 19 professional events in her career and won six of them. The World No. 1 started her season at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, where she finished in a tie for 16th.

After a decent start to the season, Korda competed at the LPGA Drive On Championship and won after shooting four rounds of 65, 67, 68, and 73.

Korda then registered a victory at the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship and followed it with another win at the Ford Championship. Intriguingly, she has won five back-to-back events, including her two wins at the T-Mobile Match Play and The Chevron Championship.

Korda then won the Mizuho Americas Open, marking her sixth win of the season. She last played at the Kroger Queen City Championship, where she tied for fifth place.

Korda has recently updated her fans about her next outing by sharing pictures and videos on her Instagram account. She posted a clip of her practice session, along with selfies and golf course pictures.

Additionally, Korda shared a picture of herself with coffee. She posed in a black t-shirt with sunglasses, sitting in front of coffee cups on a table. In the caption of the posts, she expressed her excitement for her upcoming outings in South Korea and Malaysia. She wrote:

Notably, LPGA Tour players will next tee off at the BMW Ladies Championship, which will take place at Seowon Valley Country Club in Seowon Hills, Republic of Korea. The tournament will run from 17 to 20 October. Korda has entered the tournament in a stellar field that includes Ayaka Furue, Lauren Coughlin, Lydia Ko, and Hannah Green.

After the South Korean event, Korda will travel to Malaysia for the Maybank Championship. It will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 24 to 27 October.
