According to reports, the host of the Cognizant Classic, PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, is set to be sold for $425 million. However, further details of the deal have yet to be unveiled.

The Cognizant Classic has been held at PGA National Resort's Championship Course since 2006. According to Bloomberg, Henderson Park, a private equity real estate firm based in London, has reportedly acquired it for $425 million.

As reported by Golfweek, if the deal is completed, the luxury boutique hotel brand Salamander Hotels, led by Sheila Johnson, will manage the PGA National Resort. For those unfamiliar, Johnson is also the co-founder of BET.

The PGA National Resort & Spa resort also includes 350 rooms, 19 tennis courts, a 35,000-square-foot fitness center, a 40,000-square-foot spa, and 60,000 square feet of event space.

Earlier this year, PGA National hosted the Cognizant Classic for the 18th time, where Austin Eckroat emerged as the winner. He beat Min Woo Lee and Erik van Rooyen by one stroke to claim his maiden title.
