Collin Morikawa’s wife Katherine ‘might sell’ her paintings of the golfer

Last week was eventful for Collin Morikawa as the 27-year-old won the 2024 Presidents Cup with Team USA. Morikawa, along with other Team USA members, was crucial in beating the Mike Weir-led International Team 18.5-11.5 at the Royal Montreal Golf Club in Quebec, Canada.

Now that the tournament has concluded, Collin's wife, Katherine Morikawa, shared an Instagram story. Before play at the Presidents Cup could begin, wives and girlfriends of the golfers of Team USA painted portraits of their partners. Katherine shared an image of the same, along with one from the 2020 Ryder Cup.

In the caption of the story, Collin Morikawa's wife wrote:

"might be selling artwork pretty soon"

Katherine Morikawa was born in Canada on 13 January 1996. In her life, Katherine played many different sports. While her father played tennis, Katherine took up track athletics. She also competed, played tennis, and won her first amateur competition in 2013.

Collin Morikawa once revealed he was very nervous while proposing to Katherine Morikawa

In December 2021, Collin Morikawa proposed to Katherine in the Bahamas. In an interview with the PGA Tour.com in 2021, Collin revealed the couple had taken a boat ride around Nassau and stopped at a beach, which was researched and picked by the golfer.

He revealed he wanted to propose to Katherine on the beach but was worried about dropping the ring in the water. A month after the proposal, in another interview with PGA Tour, Morikawa explained the difference between the nerves of proposing and competing.

In an interview, a producer asked the American golfer to compare the two. Morikawa gave a detailed answer and said:

"No. No. Not even close. Way more nervous proposing. I mean it's not even the same. It's not even in the same boat. It is so far gone. I mean golf I do it every day. Like it's normal. Proposing is not. Yeah, that morning I practiced with my Caddie in the Bahamas and we were on a cart and I was driving into the ropes and going all over the place. It was nerve-wracking."

Collin and Katherine regularly share photos of each other on Instagram, and after Collin's recent victory at the Presidents Cup, Katherine posted a series of photos on Instagram and described them as her favorite moments from last week.
