Did USA win any medals in men's golf at 2024 Paris Olympics? Final rankings for Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and more explored

The men's golf event of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is now in the books. The competition was fierce, but in the end, the overwhelming favorite took home the gold medal.

American Scottie Scheffler won the gold medal in golf at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with a score of 19 under. Most prediction sites had Scheffler as a heavy favorite to win the title, given his results throughout the season.

Scheffler matched the record for the Albatross Course at Le Golf National (9-under 62) to beat the rest of the field and win the gold medal. His performance included nine birdies and no bogeys.

Xander Schauffele was the second-highest U.S. finisher on the Olympic leaderboard. Schauffele started the round in a tie for first place at 14-under, but was unable to maintain his pace and dropped to T9.

Schauffele's fourth-round performance included three birdies, three bogeys and one double bogey (2-over). His tournament score was 12-over.

On the other side of the coin was Wyndham Clark. The 2023 US Open champion started the Olympic event at 4 over in the first round. However, he improved dramatically over the next three days to finish T14 on 11 under.

Finally, Collin Morikawa maintained a similar performance throughout the event and finished T24 on 6 under.
