Donald Trump’s granddaughter Kai Trump to play golf with YouTuber Grant Hovart
Kai Trump, the granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, recently stepped into the public eye when she spoke at the Republican National Convention. Soon, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. will also venture into the highest level of golf on social media.
Grant Horvat, a well-known golf YouTuber, revealed on Friday, July 26, that he will post a video of himself playing golf with Kai Trump on his channel the following Monday. Horvat posted the following text on Instagram:
"Bryson beat me to a million, but I got @kaitrumpgolfer. Dropping Monday 12 pm EST"
Horvat is one of the most well-known golf influencers in the world, especially on YouTube. His channel has more than 750,000 subscribers. Kai Trump is no stranger to social media fame either, as her Instagram account has more than 319,000 followers.
Donald Trump was recently present in a video that was posted on Bryson DeChambeau's YouTube channel. The video was part of the "Breaking 50" series and has been viewed more than 6.5 million times.
The collaboration between Trump and DeChambeau was aimed at raising funds for US veterans. The score (22 under) raised $220,000, while donations from YouTube users exceeded $24,000.
Within hours of the video's release, DeChambeau's YouTube channel reached more than one million subscribers.
Kai is the eldest granddaughter of Donald Trump and the firstborn of Donald Trump Jr. On the third day of the Republican convention (July 17), Kai spoke for the first time at such an event. This was part of what she said (via the Palm Beach Post):
"I'm speaking today to share the side of my grandpa that people don't often see," she said. To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren't looking. He always wants to know how we're doing in school."
Kai Trump and Golf
Kai Trump, 17, just finished her freshman year at the Benjamin School in Jupiter, Florida. This is the same school that Tiger Woods' son, Charlie, attends.
The school has a prestigious golf program, and Kai is the captain of the girls' team. The Benjamin Buccaneers won four tournaments on the junior circuit during the 2023–2024 season.
Kai stated on the Sports Recruit website that her "biggest passion" is golf. She started playing at the age of four and has developed into a talented junior player. Her Instagram profile shows that she is fully committed to golf, as she regularly posts pictures of her training and playing. According to Sports Recruit, Kai hopes to pursue her athletic career at the collegiate level.
Kai's relationship with golf is practically from the cradle, as her grandfather, Donald Trump, is an avid golfer. The Trump clan also owns numerous high-profile golf clubs around the world.
