English footballer Harry Kane comes inches away from a hole-in-one on par 4
English professional footballer Harry Kane is an avid lover of golf. In several interviews in the past, Kane has spoken about his love for the sport and he has also been spotted playing on various occassions. Recently, Kane was seen sharing the course with Rick Shields.
On social media platform X, Shields posted a video in which he was seen playing golf with the Bayern Munich forward. In the video, Kane was seen impressing with his golf skills. As a matter of fact, he came inches away from a hole-in-one on a par 4 hole.
In the beginning of the video, Kane is seen explaining his strategy to Shields, after which he proceeds to hit the shot. As soon as Kane hit the shot, he received praise from Shields, who called it phenomenal. Eventually, the ball landed very close to the hole, which kept Kane inches away from scoring a hole-in-one.

After the ball landed and was visble to them, Shields was shocked seeing Kane hit the ball so well. The star footballer, on the other hand, thought he had scored a hole-in-one as the ball wasn't visible for a while. Kane also added his heart skipped a beat during this shot.
Harry Kane recently spoke about playing golf with Tiger Woods
As mentioned above, Harry Kane's love for golf is evident through his statements about the sport and his play on the golf course. The England football team captain recently he spoke about his experience of playing with 15-time major winner Tiger Woods.
During an appearance on the Rick Shields Golf Show, Kane first detailed how he landed the chance to play golf with Woods. Later, he spoke about playing with the American golf legend and also detailed the interactions he had with him.
Harry Kane said:
"I was out in the Bahamas, and a golf pro I knew casually said, 'Oh, by the way, I’m playing with Tiger this afternoon. Want to join?' It was one of those moments where I just thought, ‘Yeah, of course!’ It’s surreal.”
Kane further added:
"We teed it up, and I hit a decent drive into the fairway. Tiger was walking, coming back from his injury, and I was in a buggy. We didn’t speak much on the course at first, but later we got chatting about family and life. He asked me to play 18 holes with him the next day, and it was incredible. I didn’t play great, but Tiger shot six-under. I kind of knew before anyone else did that he was back to playing really well!"
Over the last few years, several professional football players have taken up golf. Some of the most prominent footballers who have been constantly seen on the golf course are Gareth Bale, Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer, and Ruud Gullit.
