Fan jumps in water hazard at LIV Golf UK, commentators dub him the 'first' of many

On Friday, July 26, a fan jumped into a water hazard during the opening round of LIV Golf UK. The scenes were amusing for the fans present as well as for the commentators, who predicted more such incidents in the future.

LIV Golf's eleventh event of the season teed off on Friday, July 26, at JCB Golf and Country Club in Rocester, England. This is the first time in three seasons that the event is taking place outside of London.

Nuclr Golf, a popular golf tracking account on X, shared the video where a fan takes a dip in the water hazard at JCB Golf and Country Club.

"Our first dipper," the broadcaster commented. "Probably won't be the last."

The first round of LIV Golf UK concluded with Jon Rahm taking two shots ahead of Abraham Ancer and Andy Ogletree. His bogey-free round consisted of eight birdies. Notably, the Spaniard is still looking for his first win since the Masters Tournament last year.

Tyrrell Hatton and Cameron Smith were tied for fourth after shooting 5-under 66 on Thursday. Paul Casey, Graeme McDowell, Louis Oosthuizen, Cameron Tringale, Brooks Koepka, Sam Horsfield, and Matthew Wolff are all tied for sixth at 4-under.
