Former Masters winner reflects on documenting Scottie Scheffler in 'one of the greatest seasons' in golf's history
Former South African professional golfer Trevor Immelman reflected on his experience of documenting the incredible 2024 season of Scottie Scheffler for an exclusive documentary. Recently, the PGA Tour has dropped a documentary called "Scottie 24," highlighting the incredible and memorable moments of the enthralling outings of the world No. 1 this year.
Trevor Immelman took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to reflect on his experience of part of the documentary. He called it one of the "greatest seasons" in the history of the game.
Speaking of Scheffler's documentation, Immelman wrote:
"I enjoyed being a part of documenting one of the greatest seasons in our sports history. Scottie 24 drops on the @PGATOUR @YouTube page this morning at 9am. Hope you enjoy it."
Notably, Scottie Scheffler has been phenomenal with his game in 2024. He has undoubtedly had the best season of his career.
A look into Scottie Scheffler's amazing performance in 2024
Scheffler was exceptional in 2024. He started the season at the season-opening Sentry held at Kapalua Resort, where he finished in T5 position. Scheffler tasted his first win of the year at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and then won The Players Championship.
He was close to making a victory hat trick but finished in T2 at the Texas Children's Houston Open. He then again won a tournament at The Masters and later at the RBC Heritage.
He also won the Memorial Tournament and then the Travelers Championship before capping the season with another victory at the Tour Championship. Aside from that, he also defended his title at the Hero World Challenge.
