The Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy-led TGL is all set to begin on January 7th, 2025. This upcoming tournament will be the very first edition of the indoor event, and it will take place at the SoFi Center after the roof of the original venue collapsed earlier this year.

Ahead of the tournament, the official X handle of TGL wrote a post in which they shared an image of Atlanta Drive GC player Patrick Cantlay. Along with the image, a caption was also shared in which Tiger Woods was quoted speaking about Cantlay.

At TGL, Patrick Cantlay will be teaming up with the likes of Justin Thomas, Billy Horschel and Lucas Glover to play for Atlanta Drive GC. It's also worth noting that this team is owned by Arthur M. Black and will be competing against five other teams to win the competition.

Also, as mentioned above, the first match of The Golf League will take place on January 7th, and fans can view the same on ESPN. This match will be played between The Bay Golf Club and The New York Golf Club.
