“How can you not root for Scottie Scheffler”: Players winner melts hearts after his touching conversation with a superfan

Scottie Scheffler reclaimed his No. 1 spot after a masterclass display that helped him win his first Players Championship by five shots. But the American also showed that he is not just a champion on the course, but off it too.

Cheering for Scottie Scheffler throughout the tournament was Kyle, a fan who unfortunately has a disability. That did not deter him from showing his support, and Scheffler, along with his wife Meredith, went up to Kyle and his dad to show their appreciation. It was an amazing moment for Kyle, whose excitement was there for all to see. Meredith even told Kyle that 'maybe he was the good luck charm'.
