Cameron Smith joined the rival circuit in 2022 just a few weeks after winning the Open Championship. A few months later, he claimed the Australian PGA Championship, beating Ryo Hisatsune and Jason Scrivener by three strokes. While this was his third win there, it was his first since joining the Saudi-backed circuit.
2) Dean Burmester
Dean Burmester is one of two names from the PIF-sponsored circuit who have won multiple times on the DP World Tour. Last year, he won the Joburg Open, beating Darren Fichardt by three strokes.
Just a week later, he won the South African Open, defeating Renato Paratore, Jesper Svensson, and Ryan van Velzen by three shots.
3) Louis Oosthuizen
Louis Oosthuizen is another golfer who has won multiple times on the DP World Tour after joining LIV Golf. Last December, he won the Alfred Dunhill Championship, defeating Charl Schwartzel by two shots. The following week, he posted a two-shot win over Laurie Canter at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.
