How much has Jon Rahm earned from LIV Golf outings so far? Earnings explored

For the first time since he defected, Jon Rahm won a golf tournament. The star golfer has had very little success in the four Majors (though he withdrew from one) and hadn't won a LIV Golf tournament until last weekend. He finally broke through with his maiden victory in the United Kingdom.

That resulted in a nice payday. Even though he hadn't won any tournaments, he still had a good amount of income from previous tournaments, too. On that note, let's look at the amount of money the former Major winner earned so far.

For his victory this weekend, Rahm earned $4 million. He shot 13 under par. His team also won the team event, so he earned $750,000 for that as well. At Andalucia, the golfer won $392,500.

For a T3 in Nashville, the former PGA Tour star took home $1 million. His team won, so he added another $750,000. Rahm didn't earn any money from LIV Houston after having withdrawn from the event.

At LIV Singapore, Jon Rahm earned $371,250 for a tie for 10th place. He tied for third at Adelaide, earning $920,000. The golfer tied for fourth at Miami, earning $833,333. Legion XIII won the team event, adding $750,000 to his winnings.

After tying for eighth, Rahm won $396,071 at LIV Hong Kong. He finished fifth at Jeddah, earning an even $800,000. In Las Vegas, Rahm was eighth and earned $525,000.

A tie for third in his inaugural LIV event at Mayakoba earned Rahm $1.25 million. His team won this event, adding another $750,000 to his total. All in all, LIV has paid Rahm $15,095,654. This is, of course, in conjunction with his substantial salary with LIV.

Jon Rahm made the controversial decision to take LIV Golf's offer earlier in the year. He made the transition that many others have made, but it didn't result in immediate success. Rahm had become one of the best and most well-known golfers out there, but the success didn't translate to LIV as quickly as expected. That was the case until Sunday when Rahm's -13 was enough to beat teammate Tyrell Hatton. He said (via Golf.com):

“It’s just emotional. It hasn’t been the easiest year for our family. Kelley and I have gone through quite a bit, and she has gone through even more, being on bedrest among many other things. She did tell me, our son Kepa said to bring a trophy home in this stretch of golf, and I started to believe it was going to happen at one point today."

He said things got a little worrisome in the last 20 minutes or so, but he was able to hold on for the win.
