The 2024 BMW Championship is all set to begin on 22nd August 2024 at the Castle Pines Golf Club in Colorado, USA. The event will wrap up on 25th August 2024.
The competition is the second fixture in the FedEx Cup Playoff. The first event in the series, St. Jude Championship, was won by Japanese golfer Hideki Matsuyama. Defending Tour Championship titleholder, Norweigen golfer Viktor Hovland, placed second at TPC Southwind.
Matsuyama will return to the field with hopes of putting up a similar performance. He will not only be joined by Hovlad but also by other top golfers such as Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Sungjae Im, Patrick Cantlay, Sahith Theegala, Ludvig Aberg, and Wyndham Clark amongst others.
The 2024 BMW Championship boasts of an impressive lineup. A total of fifty golfers will tee off for this event. They will all be fighting to be among the 30 players to play in the Tour Championship at the end of this month. It will be an exciting match to witness, without a doubt.
