“I am not delusional”: Amanda Balionis defends her lifestyle as she shares bold dietary choice for the holidays
CBS reporter Amanda Balionis is embracing the holiday season as she recently hinted at what her diet was going to look like in the coming days. She posted a hilarious story on Instagram on Wednesday.
Balionis showed herself packing a bag with "holiday swag," replete with Christmas sweaters of different colors. She later packed a pack of Gruns gummies in the bag before she said:
"I am not delusional in understanding what my lifestyle is going to be over the holidays"
Balionis promoted Gruns gummies, a product that claims to fill nutritional gaps. The gummies boast of having various health benefits including supporting gut health, energy, immunity, beauty, focus, and recovery. The broadcaster called these gummies her "packing requirement" and also shared a special referral discount link.
Fans who are interested in buying the gummies can get up to 45% off on their purchase. Balionis later put up a story appreciating Gruns as the brand is sporting a new green packaging. She listed the nutritional benefits of the gummies, writing:
"What I love the most! Full whole fruits & vegetables. Vegan, nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free. No artificial flavors or colors. Biotin"
When Amanda Balionis shared how "practicing yoga" has helped her "stay calm"
Amanda Balionis wrote a special piece for Golf.com in 2020 about the mental and physical benefits regular yoga practice has reaped her. She referenced the time she played a round of golf at Oakmont to emphasize the positive changes yoga has brought to her life.
"As I approached Oakmont, my heart began to race. Pittsburghers like me dream about being invited to play the historic course, and I was nervous. Just thinking about the first tee, my hands started shaking; my breathing became difficult. But as I settled in at my locker, I was able to clear my head with just a few deep breaths. Thanks to yoga, I had the tools I needed to step back and gain perspective."
She further added:
"Through controlled breath and meditative movements, practicing yoga has taught me how to stay calm during difficult situations."
Balionis had created a seven-minute yoga daily routine video with Golf.com. In the article, she specifically talked about the Tiger pose. She added that it was a part of her seven-minute body flow that she practiced every day.
The golf and NFL reporter further mentioned that golf and yoga were much more similar than people realized and if not for yoga she wouldn't have enjoyed playing golf as much.
