"I'm proud to be leaving as the Champion" - Scottie Scheffler signs off after claiming victory at 2024 RBC Heritage
Scottie Scheffler is currently unstoppable as he picked up his second win in a row at the 2024 RBC Heritage. Coming off a win at the 2024 Masters, he carried on his utter dominance to run away with a victory the very next weekend again at the RCB Heritage.
Despite a delay in the tournament, Scheffler finished the last three holes on Monday morning with a victory in sight at the Harbour Town Golf Links. This is World No. 1's fourth victory in the last five tournaments, which almost sealed his place as the best golfer in the world today.
At the end of the RBC Heritage, Scheffler expressed his gratitude to all his fans and volunteers. Signing off for the weekend, Scottie Scheffler sent out a video saying:
"Hey y'all Scottie Scheffler here. Just got done with the RBC Heritage. It was a nice week here in South Carolina. It was a ton of fun. I'm so thankful for all the support of all the fans and volunteers out there. I'm proud to be leaving as the Champion. Thanks y'all."
Being an elevated event, the tournament boasted a prize purse of $20 million. Scheffler took home a handsome sum of $3.6 million to add to his already impressive winnings for the year.
