“If Scottie Scheffler’s watching”: PGA pro compares himself to world #1 in hilarious record
US golfer Lanto Griffin made the cut at the ongoing Black Desert Championship. After completting his second round, he took the opportunity to compare himself to World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in a hilarious statement.
As the round 3 of the Black Desert Championship is underway, Griffin is placed T57 as of now at 5-under. He has been a consistent fixture in making cuts at events, doing so at his last four outings. The 36-year-old has extended his cut streak by one more this weekend. The cuts may not always translate into titles, but he is a consistent player when it comes to making past the cuts.
He compared himself to Scottie Scheffler, who has been in brilliant form this year. Fans found Griffin's cheeky comment hilarious. He said via the PGA Tour:
"If Scottie's watching, I'm you on cuts made"
Lanto Griffin will be in the last tee pairing in Round 3. He is paired with Ryan Fox and Alexander Bjork for Saturday.
