In picture: LIV Golf’s Talor Gooch shares a snap with Donald Trump from the golf course
LIV golfer Talor Gooch recently shared a picture with President-elect Donald Trump. The American golfer last played at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, but he missed the cut.
As there is some time before LIV Golf starts its fourth season, the Saudi Circuit players have plenty of time to spend away from the greens. Although Talor Gooch is not playing in official golf events this week, he made sure to practice the game, that too with Donald Trump.
The American golfer shared a picture with Trump on his X (formerly Twitter) account, where he has 16.4K followers. He posed in dark blue shorts with a light blue polo t-shirt, along with a cap and shoes, while Trump was wearing a red jacket over a polo and black pants with white shoes. He also donned a hat with "Make America Great Again" written on it.
Trump held a golf club in one hand, and both of them showed a thumbs up as they posed for the picture. For the caption of the post, Gooch chose an emoji of the USA flag.

Notably, Talor Gooch plays in the LIV Golf league, and Donald Trump has a strong business bond with the Saudi Circuit. He had hosted LIV Golf events on his properties over the years. Moreover, recently Trump was spotted sitting next to PIF governor Yasir Al Rumayyan during a UFC match.

Meanwhile, Talor Gooch had an amazing season on LIV Golf in 2024. Some of his impressive finishes were T2 in Las Vegas, T6 in Jeddah, 4th in Singapore, T6 in the UK, and T9 in Miami.
Donald Trump plays golf with PGA Tour players
While Donald Trump has a business relationship with LIV Golf and enjoys playing with their circuit's professional golfers, he has also been spotted playing the game with PGA Tour players. Last week, Nick Dunlap and Sam Burns shared a picture on their social media account of their golf outing with Trump. The pictures were also posted by Nuclr Golf:
The PGA Tour and LIV Golf have been in talks about a merger between both circuits in recent times. It was announced last year in June that the circuits were seemingly reuniting, but the deal has since not been finalized.
However, amidst the talks between the merger deal between LIV Golf and PGA Tour, Donald Trump met with officials from both circuits. While he met Al Rumayyan at the UFC match, he reportedly also played golf with Tour commissioner Jay Monahan earlier this month.
Donald Trump is an avid lover of the game of golf. He is often seen playing the game.
