In pictures: Charley Hull shows off her Malbon outfit from the Maybank Championship
Charley Hull may not have won the Maybank Championship but she made an impression throughout the contest. She is partnered with Malbon, one of the most unique golf attire brands out there.
In the past, Jason Day has gone viral for his Malbon outfits on the golf course. This time, it's Hull who is sharing what she wore at the tournament on her official Instagram account.
Her outfit was not quite as unique as Day's had been but she was still decked entirely in green with the word Malbon sprawled out on her back and the top of her skirt. She had her sponsors on the front.
Hull shared three snaps to her Instagram account. The first was front-facing, showing off her sponsors on a forest green shirt with a white TaylorMade hat on her head. The next two were in action, one from the side and another from behind during a swing.
Hull captioned the post by saying it was a "fun week" after she finished T12 at the Maybank Championship. The English golfer shot 12 under par, 11 shots behind Ruoning Yin who won the event. Atthaya Thitikul came in second after shooting 22 under.
Charley Hull opens up on her T12 finish after almost a month off from golf
Charley Hull recently admitted that she had to take some time off from golf. She returned to the Maybank Championship and ultimately shot well, closing with a 65 that she said included a few missed shots.
Hull's return to England was overall a success as the golfer said (via Golfweek):
“I just love being at home. I love being with my boyfriend. I just love England. I seriously love England. When I come away I get really homesick, so I’m so excited to go home. I’m in Saudi next week and then I’m home for a week.”
Hull became a Golf Saudi ambassador this year and will compete in Saudi Arabia this weekend to wrap up the Aramco Team Series on the Ladies European Tour. She plans to return to England for a week off before the final two events in Florida.
Hull added:
“I like the Tour Championship. Obviously I like the golf course the week before as well (The Annika’s Pelican Golf Club in Belleair). I’m excited to be on that plane home to spend Christmas at home.”
The 28-year-old golfer has the chance to wrap up a solid season of golf with some victories in the next few weeks before the calendar rolls over into 2025.
