Ludvig Aberg had golf on his mind while at the Wimbledon with his girlfriend Olivia Peet - “Kinda wanted to hit a full 60 off the grass court”

Ludvig Aberg and his girlfriend, Olivia Peet, recently attended Wimbledon. However, while they were at the tennis match, golf was still on his mind, and he wanted to hit a full 60-degree shot off the grass court.

Aberg is a Swedish professional who has made a name for himself in golf in a short span. He has won titles on both the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour, surging to 4th place in the Official World Golf Ranking.

On Sunday, July 7th, Aberg attended Wimbledon with his girlfriend, Olivia Jorgi Peet, who is a Texas Tech tennis alumna. He posted several photographs on Instagram and wrote:

"Me and @olivia_jorgipeet at @wimbledon. Kinda wanted to hit a full 60 off the grass court. Thank you @rolex!"

Ludvig Aberg will next compete at the Genesis Scottish Open, which will take place from Thursday, July 11 to Sunday, July 14 at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland.

This will be Aberg's second appearance at the Genesis Scottish Open. This is his first event since the Travelers Championship where he tied for 27th. Last year he entered the Renaissance Club as a rookie but faced an early exit after shooting 71 and 68. Notably, this was his only missed cut of his rookie season.

The Genesis Scottish Open will be the final event ahead of the Open Championship 2024. This will be one last opportunity for Tour pros to warm up ahead of the final major championship of the season. Rory McIlroy is the defending champion at the Renaissance Club.

This season Ludvig Aberg continued his good performance and has missed just one cut in 14 starts. He also has two runner-up finishes this year including one at the Masters Tournament. Speaking of majors, he missed the cut at the PGA Championship but finished T12 at the US Open. Overall he has six top tens this season including the eighth-place finish at the Players Championship.

In just more than one year of his professional career, Aberg has made three runner-up finishes apart from one win. Besides, he was also part of the winning European team at the Ryder Cup.
