"Joe Biden would've been better than Kamala Harris"- Anthony Kim gives his opinion on President-elect Donald Trump's rival candidate
Anthony Kim has been voicing his opinions on US politics for several months on X (formerly Twitter). On Tuesday, November 12, the 3-time PGA Tour winner shared his thoughts on President-elect Donald Trump's opponents.
According to Kim, current President Joe Biden would have been a better candidate than Kamala Harris. Harris represented the Democratic Party in the presidential election on November 5 and lost to Donald Trump.
Kim wrote on X:
"I think #joebiden would have done better than #kamalaharris"
Kim also listed in the same post his order of the top stars in the history of the NBA. In his opinion, the order is Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James:
"Also it goes #mj #kobe #lebron but 2 clarify KOBE my goat"
In recent months, Anthony Kim has published numerous posts related to President-elect Donald Trump and his presidential campaign. He uses the hashtags #maga and #trump2024.
Donald Trump won 312 electoral college votes to Kamala Harris' 226. Trump also won the popular vote. 50.2% of the voters supported him against 48.1% who voted for Harris. The president-elect won 32 states to 18 for the Democratic candidate.
What's next for Anthony Kim?
Taking a cue from his posts on X, Anthony Kim has continued to train after the end of the LIV Golf season. It is common for him to post pictures and videos of his practice sessions both on the range and on the course.
However, the Greg Norman-led league has yet to announce whether Kim will return for the 2025 season. There has also been no word on whether the wild card system (which Kim used last season) will be used in the future.
Kim returned to professional golf in 2024 after 12 years away from the sport. He played 11 tournaments during the 2024 LIV Golf season, finishing 10 of them (he withdrew after the second round in Adelaide).
His best result was a 36th-place finish at the Greenbrier event. He also posted his best 54-hole score (6-under) and tied his best round of the season (5-under) at the tournament. He had previously carded the same score in the third round of the Hong Kong event. Kim's results earned him $928,417. This amount placed him 55th on the Tour's money list at the end of the 2024 season.
Kim played on the PGA Tour between 2007 and 2012, winning three times: the 2008 Wachovia Championship (now known as the Wells Fargo Championship), the 2008 AT&T National, and the Shell Houston Open. He also won the unofficial Kiwi Challenge in 2009.
Kim has appeared in 15 editions of the Majors, making the cut 11 times. His best finish was a tie for third at the 2010 Masters. In 2012, Kim ended his professional golf career due to injury.
