John Daly makes appearance with Donald Trump in private box at Alabama vs. Georgia FBS game

John Daly and Donald Trump were spotted together at an FBS I match. FBS, or Football Bowl Subdivision is the highest level of collegiate football in USA. On September 28, Alabama Crimson Tides went up against Georgia Bulldogs at the Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The home team emerged the winner, defeating the Bulldogs, 41-34.

Notably, in attendance at the game was former POTUS, Donald Trump, and alongside him was professional golfer John Daly. NUCLRGOLF shared a picture of them sitting in the Private box alongside other celebrities on their official X (formerly Twitter) handle with the caption:

Back in July, Daly showed his solidarity towards Donald Trump following an assassination attempt during the Pennsylvania rally. Trump was injured in the ruckus and had to move offstage. Later, he was taken to the hospital as he bled from the ear. Addressing the incident, Daly wrote on X:

“President Trump is one of the toughest men I know! God bless him and his family right now. Also, sending out prayers to the fallen attendees! This is devastating—our revenge coming in November at the polls! #fightfightfight #maga #myleader #vote #SAVEAMERICA,” he wrote.

Before this, in December of 2023, Daly voiced his support for Donald Trump during the Presidential election as he said (via @TCNNetwork on X):

“He needs to win. I pray to God he wins. Just for the satisfaction of bringing our country back together, get some common sense going in here again, and, you know, look what he did,” John Daly said (1:00-1:08).

Discussing Trump's tenure from 2016 to 2020, he further added:

“The four years, how great was our country in the four years he was in office? And now look at it. No secure borders... I mean, what the hell happened?" he added.

John Daly joined Donald Trump for a round of golf at the Trump National Golf Club

In 2019, John Daly met Donald Trump for a round of golf at Trump National Golf Club, Bedminster. The two-time Major winner was dressed in American flag shorts paired with a blue shirt. Following the round, he wrote a heartwarming message for Donald Trump via his X handle:

“I’m proud to be an AMERICAN, especially w/ this man leading our country!” he wrote, calling their golf outing, “one of the greatest days of my life!...Thx you for a great day #potus #dad….you are the best!” John Daly wrote on X.

Later, Donald Trump, who was then-president of the USA, reposted the tweet with a message:

“Thank you John, you are a special guy!”
