Jon Rahm to donate $1000-$2000 from his $218M earning for every Birdie and Eagle he makes at Andalucía Masters
Jon Rahm will participate in the Andalucia Masters at the Sotogrande Golf / Marina in Spain this week. Playing in his home country, the golfer will donate $1000 for each birdie and $2000 for each eagle he makes in the DP World Tour event.
Rahm's caddie Adam Hayes talked about the same on Instagram and tagged the former, Legion XIII, and more in the post. He wrote how the Spaniard wanted to help the families devastated by hurricanes.
“This week is a home game for RAHMBO but our hearts and our thoughts are with the thousands of families devastated by the Hurricanes. Although we will be doing our best to win, the goal is to make as many birdies and eagles as we can. For every Birdie we will each be donating $1000 and for every Eagle $2000. Feel free to join in with us and support these folks!!” Adam Hayes wrote.
He continued, “Funds raised will go to @samaritanspurse who is doing an amazing job of providing relief to local families in western North Carolina. Also… you can Venmo my wife and I who are working directly with local families in need, providing them with support to make it through the winter and start rebuilding their lives. @Adam_Brandy_Relief_Fund Pedal to the ground this week!! If you see the big guy trying to knock down every flag, you’ll understand why. God Bless Jon Rahm and Adam Hayes.”
Rahm will tee up for the Andalucia Masters, starting on October 17 and concluding on October 20. Notably, the tournament has a purse of €3,250,000.
