Justin Rose "can’t wait" for the first TGL League match after testing the facility

Justin Rose shared his excitement this week for the upcoming TGL series. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have launched their brand-new tech-infused golf series, which will take place at SoFi Center in Palm Beach, Florida. The upcoming golf series is nearing the start of its first season after a delay for a long time. It was initially planned to start in January 2024 but was delayed because the arena under construction suffered some damage.

As the start of the first season approaches, players have started their practice sessions, and this week Justin Rose shared his excitement to play in the series in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The Englishman shared a picture of his golf bag next to a simulator and a giant screen at SoFi Center, writing,

"Really great day @TGL with Team @WeAreLAGC. Can’t wait for the first match in January…"

The TGL will feature six teams of four players each. Justin Rose will play for the Los Angeles Golf Club alongside Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, and Tommy Fleetwood. Tiger Woods will be playing in the series for the Jupiter Links Golf Club.

When will TGL start?

TGL will make its debut on January 7, 2025. The first match will be between New York Golf Club and The Bay Golf Club. The series will have 15 regular tournaments, taking place on Monday and Tuesday nights, and then semifinal and final.
