Justin Thomas reacts to winning a $100 bet at TGL, admits to losing a few before
Justin Thomas and Atlanta Golf Club started their TGL campaign on a high, as they beat New York Golf Club comfortably by 4-0. He also won $100 for winning a bet against Cameron Young during the match.
During TGL Match 3, Justin Thomas outdrove Cameron Young when his shot landed just 20 feet away from the 151-yard seventh hole, while Young's ball landed 26 feet away from the pin.
During the post-match interview, Thomas was asked about the bet.
"It was great," he replied. "He's lucky that Pat's putt somehow lipped out on 18, and I'm just hoping I don't get in trouble for that. It's always, always sweeter when your friend has to hand you over cash. I've done it to both of these guys many a times, and it's nice being on the receiving end."
