Las Vegas and Hong Kong among the new destinations in 2024 LIV Golf regular-season schedule
Three weeks remain until the tee-off of the 2024 LIV Golf season, which could be decisive for the consolidation of the circuit. The Greg Norman-led league will visit four new destinations, including Las Vegas and Hong Kong.
LIV Golf Las Vegas will be the second on the circuit's 2024 schedule, while the Hong Kong event will be the fourth. The other new destinations will be Houston and Nashville in the United States.
The season will begin in Mayakoba, Mexico, on February 2, 2024, with El Camaleon Golf Course as the venue. From there, the circuit will move to Las Vegas Country Club the following week.
The next stop for LIV Golf will be at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from March 1 to March 3. A week later, they will play at the Hong Kong Golf Club.
One of the courses to which LIV Golf will return is the Trump National Doral in Miami (April 5 to April 7). At the end of the same month, the Adelaide event, which brought so much success to the circuit in 2023, will be played.
The league will also return to Singapore's Sentosa Golf Club in May 2024. Houston's premiere hosting of an LIV event will be June 7 to June 9 at the Golf Club.
The Grove will be home to the Nashville event, the fourth new destination of the season. The league will play in Tennessee from June 21 to June 23.
Another venue that was a great success last season, the Spanish Real Club Valderra, will host the LIV Golf Andalucia from July 12 to July 14. The circuit will return to the UK two weeks later, but to visit a new venue: the JCB Golf and Country Club in Staffordshire.
The last event of the regular season will be at another familiar venue for the tour, Greenbrier. It will be played at The Old White from August 16 to August 18.
How will the 2024 LIV Golf season end?
The 2024 LIV Golf season includes the 12 tournaments mentioned above in its regular season. Although there are no other events included on the official website of the circuit, information shared on social networks reveals two other stops.
They are an Individual Championship (which would debut this season) and a Team Championship similar to the one held in 2023. Both events have venues and dates yet to be confirmed.
In this regard, it is good to remember that about a month before the calendar was made official (November 2023), Sports Illustrated had access to reports about the possible venues set to host LIV events during 2024.
Some of the locations mentioned at the time have not been included in the calendar until now. They include South Korea, Los Angeles, Dallas and Oklahoma City. Perhaps some of them will host the last two events of the season.
