Following his week at the 2024 Olympics, Min Woo Lee shared his experience in Paris and expressed his hope to represent Australia again in 2028. He also revealed his post-Olympic plans, stating that he would now head to the US for the Wyndham Championship.

Min Woo Lee had a nightmare of a start at the 2024 Olympics, as he shot 75 and finished 13 strokes back after the first round. However, he made a remarkable recovery in the following days, firing 65, 68, and 68 to tie for 22nd at 8-under.

After the conclusion of the 2024 Olympics, Min Woo Lee posted a heartfelt note on Instagram and revealed his plans for the week:

"Jetting back to America, to play in the @wyndhamchamp to end the regular season. Lets try get the kitchen cookin’ and make a push for the playoffs πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³ #AllezAus," he wrote.

The 26-year-old Australian also had few words to write about his experience in Paris, which he referred to as an unforgettable week.

"It was an absolute honour to represent Australia," he wrote. "Playing for more than just me was a special feeling. I hope to represent the Green & Gold in 2028 🦘🐨"

What is Min Woo Lee's current FedEx Cup standings?

Min Woo Lee is all set to compete at the Wyndham Championship, the last event on the PGA Tour's regular schedule before heading into the FedEx Cup Playoffs.

Currently, Min Woo Lee is ranked 62nd in the FedEx Cup standings and is likely to qualify for the Playoffs in his rookie season on the PGA Tour. He has missed just two cuts in fifteen appearances. He has made it into the top ten twice this year, with both finishes being runner-up results.

Speaking of the FedEx Cup standings, Scottie Scheffler leads by a whopping 1,936 points. He has had an outstanding season with six wins, including the Masters Tournament and the Players Championship. Last Sunday, he also clinched the gold medal at the 2024 Olympics.
