LIV Golf adds 2 more locations to its packed 2025 schedule

LIV Golf has officially added six new tournaments and two brand-new locations to its 2025 schedule. One of the tour's proposed intentions was to expand golf on a global scale and add tournaments in the locations that are lacking in pro golf. Taking the idea forward, the tour has added Korea and Indianapolis to the 2025 slate.

It will be the first time LIV plays in Korea, and it will be an important location for two players on the circuit: Kevin Na and Danny Lee. According to LIV's website, the tournament will be held in Incheon, the city where Lee reportedly walked for the first time as a child.

Along with the two new locations, four favorites are being officially put on the schedule next year. These include the UK, Chicago, Dallas, and Andalucia in Spain, Jon Rahm's home country.

LIV has often tried to get tournaments in cities and locations that matter to its players. They also play in Adelaide, a place near and dear to several Australians: Marc Leishman, Cameron Smith, Lucas Herbert, and Matt Jones.

Here is the official schedule and venue for each event:

  • Korea, May 2-4, Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea
  • Dallas, June 27-29, Maridoe Golf Club
  • Andalucía, July 11-13, Real Club Valderrama
  • UK by JCB, July 25-27, JCB Golf and Country Club
  • Chicago, August 8-10, Bolingbrook Golf Club
  • Indianapolis, August 15-17, The Club at Chatham Hills

Indianapolis will be 2025's Individual Championship location. Players will compete for the season-long title there in August.

“LIV Golf is growing across the globe in new and returning markets, and our 2025 schedule is a testament to that. Bringing LIV Golf to South Korea is another significant milestone as we continue to expand throughout Asia, and our inaugural event in Indy will be a perfect match for a community steeped in sports history and tradition.

Norman said that the tour is "excited to build on the tremendous success" in bringing it to Chicago, Dallas, and the UK. He said they set league attendance records and saw "dramatic competition on the course."

Greg Norman also acknowledged that LIV Golf's work with Andalucia "continues to deliver a memorable experience for players and fans at Valderrama" which he said was a special venue.
