LIV Golf garners up to 134,000 viewers for Jon Rahm's victory at Chicago

At the Bolingbrook Golf Club on Sunday, Spanish professional golfer Jon Rahm won the Individual Championship on the LIV Golf Tour. Rahm, 29, carded 69-64-66 to beat Joaquin Niemann, who finished second at the event and second in the Individual Championship standings.

This moment is indeed massive for Rahm as the ongoing season is his debut season in LIV Golf. The Spanish professional's victory at the Bolingbrook Golf Club on Sunday was viewed by a total of 89,000 people. This figure in comparison to Round 2, is a drop.

The second round on Saturday witnessed a record 134,000 viewers tune in to witness the battle between Rahm and Joaquin Neimann. While these are the numbers for Round 2 and Round 3 of LIV Golf Chicago on CW Network, the Tour set a record with regard to attendance.

On Saturday, LIV Golf Chicago saw more than 15,000 people visit the Bolingbrook Golf Club to witness Round 2. This figure meant that LIV Golf Chicago has set a new LIV Golf single-day attendance record for U.S. events.

In their next outing, the Saudi-backed Tour will be traveling to Dallas for LIV Golf Dallas. This event will also crown the Team Champions for the 2024 season. LIV Golf Dallas will take place between September 22-24 at the Maridoe Golf Club.
