Louisville golfer mocks Scottie Scheffler’s arrest fiasco by driving with a cop-dressed mannequin hanging to his car

A Louisville golfer recently mocked Scottie Scheffler's arrest incident with a cop-dressed mannequin. The act was so hilarious that it had everyone in splits.

Last month, Scheffler was detained by the Louisville Metro Police Department for disobeying the traffic officer's directions when he was heading to Valhalla Golf Course ahead of the PGA Championship's second round. However, he was released within an hour, and recently, the charges against him were dismissed.

Recently, a Louisville-based golfer made an entry to the Wildwood Country Club, imitating Scottie Scheffler's arrest scene, which was quite a hilarious sight. He arrived in his car but had a mannequin dressed in an LMPD uniform. The mannequin was holding the car's front door, similar to what the officer mentioned he did while trying to stop Scheffler's car.

The Louisville golfer also dragged the mannequin for some distance to the parking area, again mimicking what was claimed by the LMPD officer. Interestingly, Wildwood is located near Valhalla, where Scheffler's arrest fiasco took place. Here's the video:

Last month, Scottie Scheffler was charged with four counts, including a felony, for allegedly attacking a police officer with his car. However, all the charges were dropped in the last week of May.

Last week, Scheffler said that he hadn't moved past the arrest fiasco, and that was something that he didn't like to speak on much.

"When the charges are dropped, that's kind of only the beginning of getting past it," he said. "So kind of operating through that now. It was definitely a bit of a relief, but not total relief because that's something that will always, I think, kind of stick with me. That mug shot, I'm sure is not going anywhere anytime soon."

What's next for Scottie Scheffler?

Scottie Scheffler will next compete at the US Open 2024, which starts on Thursday, June 13, at Pinehurst No. 2 in North Carolina. Once again, Scottie Scheffler is entering the major championship as a tournament favorite. As per BetMGM, he is +333 to win the second major championship this season.

Scheffler has been riding high with his performance this year. He has already won five events, including the Masters Tournament and the Players Championship. Besides, he has also registered two other top-ten finishes. He has made 12 top tens in 13 starts and hasn't finished worse than T17 at the American Express.

If Scheffler wins the US Open 2024, he will become the first player since Brooks Koepka (2018) to have won multiple majors in one year. Only 20 players have achieved this feat in golf history so far.
