LPGA star reflects on pairing up with PGA Tour’s Cameron Young for the Grant Thornton Invitational

LPGA star Lauren Coughlin will play with Cameron Young in the Grant Thornton Invitational from 13 to 15 December. It will be a 3-day competition where LPGA and PGA Tour golfers will pair up.

Coughlin recently confirmed on her X that she'd play with Young in the team event. She posted a picture of her and Young and wrote a caption:

“This is going to be pretty fun!” Coughlin wrote.

Last year, Lauren Coughlin and Cameron Young didn't participate in this team event. Jason Day and Lydia Ko won the tournament.

The pair’s total score was 26 under and they scored an opening round of 58 with 12 birdies and one eagle. They fired 66 in the second round with seven birdies and 66 in the third round with six birdies.
