Ludvig Aberg details the ‘pretty cool’ experience of attending Wimbledon with his tennis pro girlfriend

Ludvig Aberg is currently at The Renaissance Club to compete in the 2024 Scottish Open. This will be Aberg's first appearance on the PGA Tour since playing at the Travelers Championship where he finished T27. At that event, Aberg scored 67-69-62-71 269 (-11).

While he is now ready to tee off in Round 1 at the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open, before the tournament Aberg was spotted attending Wimbledon with his girlfriend, tennis professional Olivia Peet. In the press conference ahead of the tournament, Aberg spoke about attending Wimbledon with his partner.

Ludvig Aberg said:

"Wimbledon was very very cool. I've always liked tennis, I've always watched the bigger tournaments. But then obviously when I started hanging out with Olivia, my girlfriend, she played tennis in college, and I've naturally gotten into it a little bit more but we had a great... she loved it." (13:45)

He further added:

"It was very cool for me to have that experience with her. But the place is so cool. There's a lot of similarities, I think, between golf and tennis. And Wimbledon and Center Court is kinda like their mecca. So for me to experience that from afar was pretty cool."

Aberg and Peet are from the same college, Texas Tech University, and they were both student-athletes. While Aberg made a name for himself in golf, Peet is also making a name for herself in tennis.
