Max Homa looking to support LA Dodgers one last time in 2024 as MLB side inches closer to World Series win

Max Homa is an avid MLB fan, and with the World Series games underway, he's cheering for his favorite team. The American golfer has been rooting for the Los Angeles Dodgers and frequently shares posts supporting them.

The Dodgers have won the first three games of the World Series against the New York Yankees and are just one win away from clinching it. Speaking ahead of Game 4, which is scheduled to take place on October 29, Homa said that while he enjoyed supporting the Los Angekes-based MLB team, he hoped that the match would be the last time he would have to root for them.

"Although I have really enjoyed rooting for the Dodgers, I hope tomorrow is the last day I root for them this year. (Also Walker Buehler I 💙 u)"

In the last few weeks, Max Homa has posted several times cheering for the Dodgers, rooting for them while he was competing at the Zozo Championship in Japan. He also cheered for the Dodgers when they won their World Series Game 1 against the Yankees on October 25.

"Very happy I chose to root for the Dodgers and Freddie Freeman today. I’ve decided I will root for them again the next game!"Homa wrote.

During his time in Japan at a Zozo Championship press conference, Homa also opened up about his favorite MLB player, Shohei Ohtani. He said:

"It's really cool being here. Obviously, we have two Japanese players on the (Los Angles) Dodgers that are tremendous. One of which is (Shohei) Ohtani, who is the best baseball player I've ever seen. So it's quite cool to come here, I've actually seen quite a few times L.A.hats. So, it's quite neat to be in Japan when the best baseball player in the world is Japanese and you know, he is on the team....I root for. So, it's kind of a dream scenario."

Notably, the Dodgers are performing exceptionally well this season. They have so far won three consecutive matches in the World Series and are leading 3-0.
