He is the brand ambassador of the athletic brand since signing a deal with the retailer earlier this year. Recently, he collaborated with the brand to set up a merch truck.
Lee shared pictures of his new venture on Instagram, where he has 610K followers. In the photos, he is seen sitting in front of the "Chef Woozy" truck, wearing a red T-shirt paired with black shorts, matching the attire of the truck standing behind him. The truck features the slogan "Let Him Cook!" along with Lululemon's branding on the side.
Sharing the pictures, Lee wrote:
"Serving up vibes 👨‍🍳🚗 #LetHimCook #NewWhip"
Min Woo Lee became the brand ambassador of Lululemon in January 2024. He opened up about the collaboration at that time in an interview with Sports Illustrated. The Aussie said,
"It was really the moral part of the brand. Under Lululemon shirts, you’ll notice there’s a little motto written on the fabric. I think that’s really cool. Looking at that slogan right before you put it on—it motivates you. I think their connection with their community is great.
"I did mention to them that “Let Him Cook” on the inside of the shirts would be pretty awesome … in the near future, there might be a couple items that might have my name on them or are around my name. I’m really excited to be part of the designing process."
When Min Woo Lee revealed the origin of his popular catchphrase "Let Him Cook"
Earlier this year, when Min Woo Lee signed an apparel deal with Lululemon, he talked about where his popular phrase "Let Him Cook" comes from, in an interview with Sports Illustrated. Lee shared that his use of the phrase started randomly after some of his fans used it in their comments on his posts.
Speaking about the phrase, Lee said (via SI),
"It started in a few of my posts, randomly. I don’t know if someone commented it or I said it. Since then, every time I’ve posted it’s been something to do with “Let Him Cook” or “Chef,” which came after that. It’s nice to have something to relate to me, or something that I started."
He further explained the meaning of "Let Him Cook," saying it’s a popular phrase in the gaming world. He said,
"For the people that don’t know what it means, it means “Let him do his thing” or “he’s doing well.” It just kicked off and kept going. I play a lot of “Call of Duty.” If you Google “Let Him Cook,” it’ll say it comes from the gaming world or music videos. I’m not really sure what it is, but hopefully I can override that and they can say that I made it a bit more famous."
His last individual event this season was the Procore Championship on the PGA Tour, where he finished tied for 32nd place. Away from the golf course, Lee has embarked on this exciting new collaboration with the renowned brand.
