Before the 2024 Olympics, in an interview on the "Ladies European Tour Channel", Metraux talked about her love for the Olympics as it exposed her to a variety of sports. She said:

Morgane Metraux further credited her family for inspiring her journey to the Olympics. She added:

"First of all obviously my parents. They're the ones who especially my dad who had played before and the ones who got me into the sport. My sister would be next. We've played our whole Junior and amatuer career together. Then my boyfriend who I met in college." [0:13 onwards]
