Nelly Korda shares cooking video as she gives sneak peek into her Monday lunch
Nelly Korda has had a busy couple of weeks in December. She recently competed in the Grant Thornton Invitational, finishing in 13th place with a score of 16-under par. She was paired with Daniel Berger during the tournament.
Her next appearance will be at the PNC Championship this weekend. However, she is making most of her down time as she recently took to her Instagram stories to share a few snaps of a getaway. The World no. 1 may have also taken to cooking as she shared a video of her stirring chopped onions.
"Time for some Gulas," she wrote.
Gulas or Goulash is a Hungarian stew or soup of meat and vegetables. Korda later shared pictures from what appeared to be a boat ride with her brother Sebastian.
What is a "cheat food" that Nelly Korda really likes?
While athletes usually follow a strict diet regime, they also like to indulge in cheat meals every now and then. Nelly Korda told Golf Digest in 2022 what her favorite meal and "cheat food" is.
"Sushi, any Mediterranean food, Greek food. I don’t really eat pizza too much but that’s probably a cheat food for me that I really like,"
After winning the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge event, Korda had celebrated with her caddie Jason McDede by going to Five Guys. The fast food chain specialises in hamburgers, hot dogs and french fries.
The 26-year-old has had an incredible season this year. She picked up seven LPGA Tour titles along with her second Major win. She was also a part of the Solheim Cup winning US team. Naturally, the golfer was also bestowed with the Player of the Year award.
Beyond her athletic accomplishments, Korda also made her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue this year. She posed in stunning black and white swimwear on the beautiful beaches of Boca Raton. The shoot, captured by renowned photographer Ben Horton, took place at the luxurious Boca Raton Resort in Florida. While her full spread is set to be released in May of next year, Korda and SI Swimsuit have already shared special glimpses of the shoot, leaving the internet captivated.

"I’m not used to doing anything like that. I think that’s what’s great about these opportunities, is that you do get to step outside your comfort zone and do something different. I was just really excited for the opportunity to do this. I mean, it was so cool. The whole crew was amazing. By the end of the day, I was having so much fun with them," said Korda.
She will now participate at the PNC Championship with her father Petr Korda.
