Nelly Korda shares last-minute packing video ahead of her trip to Paris for the Olympics
Nelly Korda is one of the top contenders at the 2024 Paris Olympics' women's golf event. The American won the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics held in 2021. She will play at this year's Games from August 7 to 10 and is flying to the French capital this week for the quadrennial showdown.
Korda recently uploaded a video on her Instagram story to show her last-minute packing. She can be seen packing in a black, medium-sized trolley, opening it into two sections and keeping folded clothing in each.
“Packing for Paris,” she said.
In her next story, Korda uploaded a picture of herself, her caddie Jason McDede and another person on their way to Paris. In this photo, she is wearing a pista green hoodie paired with leggings, white shoes and socks. The three are also wearing a cap with the American flag printed on it.
Korda won the 2020 Olympics over Japanese golfer Mone Inami by a single stroke. Her total stood at 17-under 267 after the four days.
In the opening round, Korda shot six birdies to land at 67. She followed that up with nine more and an eagle on the sixth hole in the second round to finish at 62. On the third day, she dropped three birdies to settle at 69, and made five birdies to land at the same score in the fourth round.
